Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a popular Indian actress who is best known for the films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. She began her career in the late 1980s, and rose into prominence thanks to her character in the Tezaab film, where she starred alongside an established actor Anil Kapoor. The next time she appeared on the screen was in Dil along with Aamir. Her birthplace was in a Mumbai middle-class family and started dancing in her early years. When she was a teen, she began acting and struggled for years as the majority of her films at first were unsuccessful. However, she eventually achieved success and went on to become one of the most prominent actors in the Indian film business. Her marriage led to an interruption from her acting career. She returned later. In recent years, Dixit was a key player in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggle of Indian women. Dixit has been nominated for the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Padma Shri - the fourth highest civilian honor in India is awarded to Dixit.
